Summer coming to an End
Well, now that the summer is officially over, it can only mean one thing. Time for the grind of the season. I couldn’t be more excited for this season, for the simple fact it's a chance to start playing basketball again. We had a great year last year. Even dealing with all the injuries and unfortunate events that were associated with the 09-10 season, it turned out to be pretty great. During this season, though, we plan to take it to another level, if we can stay healthy. Enough about basketball. One of my friends has recently started trying to get into the whole fashion thing. I have always been into fashion to some degree, but never had thought about starting my own line or anything like that. My friend, though, is definitely going to do well because it's something he's been talking about doing forever and has put some work into. He’s actually starting with t-shirts, sweaters, and hoodies, but will hopefully venture into doing everything. When he’s finally set up with his website and everything else, make sure to support him. I will let you guys know!! Until then, stay blessed.

I think you guys had enough injuries last year to cover this year as well.
cant wait intill the season bayless...stay blessed
really excited about seeing you guys play - you will be phenomenal once you play from your heart instead of your head. funny story - when I was about seventeen back in the 70s, my dad ran a truck tire store in CA - and I learned how to change tires on eighteen wheelers. one hot afternoon at quitting time I got assigned to change tires on a truck and trailer - with an old guy from Latvia named Jon Kilass. He looked about 90 years old and moved like molasses - every time I looked over at him as I was flailing away, he was moving at a snail's pace and I fumed and swung my pick harder and pulled harder on the pry bars. He looked at me sweating and fighting the tires with a little smirk; I was pissed. He worked one side of the truck, I worked the other. Suddenly, I had three tires left and he's over giving me a hand. "You're done?" "Sure; I've been changing tires since before WWII, in Nazi prison camps. I know all the tricks." This old fragile looking guy kicked my ass - and I realized that brute exertion loses to finesse, brains and thought - activity isn't accomplishment - to steal a phrase from John Wooden. This is your year - let it go!
Hey Jerryd.
Looking forward to another season, and a new opportunity for you.
It's really been refreshing to hear and read about what I perceive to be a change of attitude and mentality in you. (that's based on my perception from the media's coverage of you early on in your career which I take with a large grain of salt)
I haven't really read your blog, so maybe you've addressed this, but if there has been a change/shift in mentality or maturing/growth whatever you want to call it, where did it stem from? I'd be interested to hear that story. (I'll take your comments on the blog or you can hit me back on here maybe with a message.)
Hey Jerryd. I have been a fan of yours since you played in high school. I am such a huge fan. Speaking of fashion, I want to get a replica U of A jersey of yours. I need some help though because I cannot find one anywhere. I am a student at U of A and I was wondering if you could help me out. I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.
you have a great blog here, keep it up! ~ marmot ski ~
